Special, nostalgic, and beautiful are a few words that I would use to describe Abby and Mickey’s intimate beach wedding. The small number for the guests at their ceremony wasn’t the only reason that it was an intimate beach wedding. The ceremony wasn’t at any ordinary beach. This special place goes back months and even years. The background of this lighthouse just about had me in tears, so get your tissues my friends.

Not only is this the place that Abby and Mickey tied the knot forever but it’s also where he got down on one knee to ask her to be his forever! I love a good proposal story and spot, so we had to get photos at the point where Mickey proposed. They even told me that the spot on the shore of the beach is typically covered by water, but because of low tide we were able to go out for stunning photos! Mickey proposed here because he knew the significance to Abby and her family. The Sturgeon Point Lighthouse goes back to Abby’s grandma being the AHS president from 2007-2017. It’s also where Abby worked in the summers with her grandma who has a bench dedicated to her. This kind of thing is what gets the tears all tearing up that’s for sure! It made their special day just that much more special.

I keep saying that your day was just so very special, but even more, you two are so special to me! I was looking back at Brenna + Will’s wedding day and it’s crazy that that’s when we first chatted your wedding day. Now it’s happened and it couldn’t have been any better of a wedding for you both. It was the sweetest of ceremonies but then one of the most fun of parties. I may be biased, but especially when All Too Well (Taylor’s Version) 10 Minute Version came on, now THAT was a party! I had so much fun with y’all from even before our coffee date to start planning your big day. Even though you basically already had it all planned out Abby, you raise my expectations, haha! I adore you both and I’m so glad you had so much fun together in Aruba! I know this isn’t the last time we’ll be together and I’m glad!
